Issued currency

A token issued on the XRP Ledger by an account, such as a stablecoin.

Issued currencies represent a claim on their issuer. A dollar stablecoin on the ledger is only as good as the entity backing it.

They trade natively against XRP and against each other on the ledger's built-in exchange.
