Transaction cost
The small amount of XRP destroyed to submit a transaction, which rises when the network is busy.
Unlike a network fee paid to a miner, the XRP Ledger's transaction cost is burned. Nobody collects it.
The cost starts at 10 drops and scales up automatically as load increases, which prices out spam without a fee market auction in normal conditions.
